Repairs

Free appraisal, on all PC's and Laptop repairs..

From time to time you will find that your PC or Laptop is running really slowly, this could be caused by a number of reasons. If you would like us to take a  look at your system, please feel free to visit us at 38 Piccadilly York, YO1 9NX. It might not always be possible to have a look there and then, if this is the case, we will call you later with the verdict. From there ,you can decide what you would like to do. What we need from you:

Laptops / Notebooks:
Please bring your notebook including your power supply and any CD Driver discs you have in your possession, and it's carrying case if possible. Please mark your laptop and ALL peripherals with your contact details.

PC Systems:
All we need is the base unit, the PC itself. No power leads or the monitor. Please bring with your PC any Anti-virus or other software you want installing like Microsoft Office, CD Driver discs, you have in your possession, or anything you are not sure of.

What to expect if your machine has had a full re-install:
In the event of a full re-install of your PC or Laptop, ALL your data and software will have been erased! However, if you need any data retrieving please inform us before hand! Data would include such aspects as your:

  • Pictures taken with your digital Camera
  • Music, MP3's, Videos, Mobile phone data / images
  • Business data, Excel & Word files, CV's, spreadsheets etc
  • Emails from Outlook or Outlook Express / Address book / Favourites
  • Invoicing software such as Sage, Quickbooks etc

Printer Repairs:
Printers are very inexpensive these days, and are therefore very difficult to get spares for. Usually you will find it more cost effective to replace the offending article. Still, if you want to bring the printer in we will certainly have a look at it for you just to make sure.
